Who may use the Shabbos Stairlift?

One who finds it difficult to walk or climb stairs.
One who is not permitted to climb stairs for medical reasons.

May an assistant operate the Shabbos Stairlift?

Yes, ONLY if it is a benefit for the patient.

Is there any Issur Chillul Shabbos involved?

No, as long as the Shabbos Stairlift is operated in accordance with these guidelines and in a manner described in the Shabbos instructions manual.

Is there any Issur Maares Eiyen?

No as it is quite apparent that a special Shabbos device is being used
